Longchamp

Dear backgammon friends,

Message to all players from / around Brussels

Our home club is Longchamp, chaussée de Waterloo 836, 1180 Brussels. They are happy to welcome us at all times. Longchamp is open every day from +/- 10.00 in the morning till +/- late in the evening (some exceptions with Christmas & New Year). On planned days like Brussels Friendly or the Backgammon Day or BIC days (like Friday 31/01) Longchamp remains open till very late, till everybody leaves.

On normal days, Longchamp remains open till at least 23.00 hours (depending on the number of present people ; if you’re only 2 backgammon players, they will close, which is understandable). This closing time can vary if there’s another activity (football on television, tennis players at the bar, bridge courses or tournaments, a.o.).

For Friday 31/01 : there’s a dinner – buffet evening with 30 persons in the main room but we can play backgammon upstairs in the bridgeroom or in the room at the back or in the ‘fumoir’. No problem. We can also eat something. For those backgammonplayers playing already at 18.00 hours : I will try to arrange the room at the back (tables, chairs, heating, …) around 17.30 hours but I’m not sure I will be in time (depending from circulation mobility). If not, I will be there around 18.40 hours to eat and play against Johan.

Reminder : Brussels Friendly 34 on 07/02
